Message From Dean Taylor
Celebrating God’s Provision and Preparing for What’s Ahead
We give thanks to God for His gracious provision during this successful fall semester at Zollikon! Our students are enjoying living in community and are diligently engaged in their coursework, gaining wisdom and insight through the guidance of our faculty and community mentors. The choir is preparing for upcoming local concerts and its Pennsylvania tour later this fall. We are already preparing for next semester, organizing open house events and finalizing a robust spring schedule that will include intensive courses. We are expanding with business offerings, Greek study, and new Tech Cred classes to meet emerging needs. Praise be to God for His continued faithfulness and for the many individuals and businesses He is using to advance this mission.
Please join us as a student, in this mission, or both! Call 330-390-4142 or email [email protected].
Save the Date – Open House on December 1
We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new Zollikon Institute facility on Highway 39 and to celebrate the faithful support that has made this new facility possible! Please save the date for a special open house on Monday, December 1, at 7:00 PM.
This will be a wonderful evening to celebrate God’s blessings and give you a chance to see our beautiful, new instructional facility. The event will feature worship with a portion of our Zollikon choir and a multi-part Q&A session including: a panel of our students, an informational period covering academics and student life, and a presidential session with Dean Taylor. Refreshments will be available.

Zollikon Scholar – Caleb Troyer
We asked one of our students, Caleb, to reflect on his experience in his fall classes at Zollikon, and he shared the profound impact of two classes:
First, regarding Tim Byler’s Mission & Ministry Perspectives class, Caleb shared, “This class has given me a deep desire to see God’s name and glory spread to all nations’ people groups.”
Secondly, Caleb found Michael Miller’s Old Testament Introduction class deeply impactful. He shared, “The thing that impacted me the most in this class was seeing God’s desire to dwell with His people through a covenantal relationship.”
Caleb’s journey highlights the transformative learning that happens here at Zollikon.
Zollikon Scholar – Cherish Gordon

“Ultimately, I plan on doing whatever God wants me to do after I complete my degree at Zollikon. However, I have had a dream since I was a little girl that grows with every passing year. I would love to start a home/ministry for boys and, maybe eventually, start another home for girls down the road. I want these to be recovery ministries for youth from troubled homes. These could even be places where parents in prisons or recovery programs could send their children to have a safe, loving home. It would be a trade school/home to raise up a group of Godly, bold, brave, young people. I also dream of making it a safe place for families in recovery to have a safe place to be reunited and given a second chance at life. I truly believe my time here at Zollikon is going to continue to prepare me for this dream and vision that God gave me as a little girl.”
Kingdom Quotes
“No one can truly know Christ unless you follow him in life; and no one can truly follow him unless first you have known him.” ~ Hans Denck
As a contextualization partner of Kairos University, our learning experiences and resources can be leveraged to help gain proficiency in Kairos competency-based courses. Kairos University encourages its students to demonstrate proficiency in its competency-based courses for prior coursework or learning through mentor team conversations and as part of the Master Assessment process. Students are required to demonstrate mastery through the Master Assessment process, and credit is awarded for the successful completion of each Kairos competency-based course.
Until Next Month,
