Student Life

A chart showing how typical on-campus students spend their time

The student experience at Zollikon Institute extends outside of the classroom with a variety of activities that create space for worship, meaningful relationships, and recreation. Some of these include a fall community choir, morning worship times, weekend student life activities, and shared meals. Beyond these structured activities, students are encouraged to take their own initiative to create life-giving spaces for upbuilding recreation and relationships, whether that means an impromptu Friday night campfire, sledding on a cold winter day,  or praying nightly with dormmates. Creating these spaces is important because the best learning and growth happens in the context of community.

In addition, full-time Zollikon students are expected to participate in our Faith and Gelassenheit Discipleship Program. This program exists to form faithful disciples through character formation, holy habits, acts of service, worship, and church involvement.
